Functional Mobility Teacher Training – Shoulders & Hips

At Soasana Yoga in Zurich Wiedikon, we invite you to a special functional mobility teacher training, created in collaboration with Move Breathe Academy

This immersive programme offers 20 Yoga Alliance–approved continuing education hours (YACEP) and explores functional mobility, joint health, and intelligent movement, with a specific focus on the shoulders and hips.

This training bridges modern functional mobility and yoga, combining theory, embodied practice, breathwork, and teaching application.

The practical sessions are also available as individual workshops (sign up).

Master Functional Mobility - 20hr TTC in June 2026

Why This Training

This training is designed to help you understand why the body moves the way it does, not just how to perform poses. You will explore how active mobility, strength, and neurological control support joint health and sustainable range of motion, helping you move, practise, and teach with more clarity and confidence on and off the mat.

Whether you are a yoga teacher wanting to teach with greater precision and confidence, or a yoga practitioner curious about your body for safer practice and daily life, this training offers practical and applicable insight.

Who This Training Is For

  • Yoga teachers

  • Movement professionals

  • Dedicated practitioners

  • Anyone curious about how the body truly works

No prior anatomy training required.

About the Teacher

Eli (@movewitheli)

A lifelong mover, yoga educator, and wellness coach teaching across Europe and internationally, Eli is known for her fluid, playful, and meticulous approach to movement. She blends yoga, mobility, and functional training with clarity, depth, and curiosity.

With a background in competitive sports, martial arts, and postural training, her relationship with movement is rooted in resilience and exploration. After recovering from multiple injuries and burnout, yoga and mobility became her primary tools for healing, naturally leading her into teaching.

Eli has trained internationally in yoga, functional mobility, breathwork, and movement systems, and is Director of Education at Move Breathe Academy, where she helps shape curriculum and mentor teachers worldwide. Her integrated approach supports students in exploring their potential with integrity, self-trust, and embodied awareness, while remaining grounded in mindful movement and yogic philosophy.
